In 2000, the Guild established an endowed Medical Center Guild Medical Student Scholarship Fund and pledged $25,000 to the fund. After a variety of fund raising efforts including, Appreciation Day Baskets and Bags, the annual Valentine’s Day Bake sale, a Wine Tasting Gala and Auction Benefit, our goal was met and an additional $50,000 was contributed to the fund.

In 2004, the Scholarship was awarded to its first recipient, Ron Halpern.

The Guild will not have a formal fundraiser this year but will be accepting donations to the scholarship. Our annual Valentine Bake Sale proceeds will be donated to the fund as usual.
